On
Garston Beach
|
On
Garston beach On Garston beach the sun is high, The tide is out, the seabirds cry; I sit alone and gently fry On Garston beach. On Garston beach the golden sands Fall softly through my spreading hands: I have no thought of foreign lands On Garston beach. On Garston beach I sit and dream Whilst eating my choc-chip ice cream, And in the sun my white knees gleam On Garston beach. On Garston beach I feel at ease Away from life's proprieties: No need to say thank you or please On Garston beach. On Garston beach I sip my tea, Meanwhile my mind roams wild and free; OH, may I always long to be On Garston beach ! |
